KENT KIRKPATRICK (President) received an MFA from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee, and has taught and served on the faculty at University of California—San Diego, University of California—Irvine, University of Delaware, American Academy of Dramatic Arts West, and Oxford University. Kent is an actor, director and producer in theater, film and television. Recently, he taught in the Film School at Santa Fe University of Art and Design.
ANDY PRIMM (Secretary) is a writer, producer, director, actor, videographer, and multi-instrumentalist and a native of Santa Fe. He has worked in TV, movies, on the stage and has toured internationally.
CARLA GARCIA loves being a Board Member of the Santa Fe Playhouse and looks forward to the continuous adventures ahead! A graduate of Northwestern University, she has spent most of her career in the nonprofit sector, but is currently working as the Events Assistant for Meow Wolf. In Santa Fe, she has stage-managed for the Santa Fe Playhouse, Ironweed Productions, DNAWORKS, Teatro Paraguas, Wise Fool, and Z-Productions. She has also worked with Shakespeare in the Gardens, Just Say It Theater, Recuerdos Vivos, and Theater Grottesco among others.
KELLY HUERTAS (Finance Committee) holds a double BFA major in Dramatic Arts/Playwrighting from the University of Georgia, and over a decade of experience in New York City acting in theatre and television. She moved to Santa Fe in the fall of October 1994 where she began writing again and continues her education with multiple residencies. She has been an active participant at the Playhouse since 2009. From 2013 to 2017 she sat as the Chairman of the Board for the Playhouse. Upon creation of the Finance Committee versus a singular Treasurer, Ms. Huertas continues to develop the fiduciary resources necessary to ensure the Legacy Endowment as the Playhouse heads towards its centennial celebration in 2022. Along side her chef/owner husband David, she has worked as the pastry chef of El Meson Restaurant which celebrated 20 years in the summer of 2017. She also assists with the Candyman Summer Music programs, the Desert Academy Fundraising Counsel and is a member of the Dramatists Guild.
MICHELLE V. PADILLA is employed with Los Alamos National Bank as a Vice President and Regional Branch Manager for the past 24 years.
