At the Playhouse our mission is to create community on stage and off by holding space for unexpected conversations through intriguing and vital programming.
One of the most exciting ways we do this outside of our programming is through our special events. Our special events range from opening night dinners to closing night champagne toasts and create the chance to meet new friends, spend time with our talented team and artists, and have a grand old time while doing so.

OPENING NIGHT DINNERS
These Opening Nights are special events where we host a dinner at a local restaurant where you enjoy a Prix Fixe meal, mingle and hear from the designers and director, and then walk over to the Playhouse for the Opening Performance (with a champagne toast following the performance).

DINNER ON STAGE
Twice a year we invite special guests to join us on the set of a mainstage production to share an intimate dinner with actors and Playhouse team for a very unique evening. The two Dinner on Stage events for 2024 were for OR/BORN WITH TEETH and for SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE.
Once the 2025 Season is announced the 2025 Dinner on Stage dates will be listed here.
A THEATRICAL FEAST
This year we will be hosting a unique dinner event.
On September 21st hosts from around Santa Fe will open their houses for a series of individual dinner parties on one single night. Each dinner party will be inspired by a different musical from Andrew Lloyd Webber or Stephen Sondheim and will include various performances and festivities…
After dinner, everyone will gather at the Playhouse for dessert and a special performance contest of Webber vs. Sondheim as well as the announcement of Season 2025!
ANNUAL GALA (2025)
In 2024 we will not have an Annual Gala.
Instead, we will be planning and preparing for a special, new time of the year which will be on FEBRUARY 15th 2025.
