At the Playhouse our mission is to create community on stage and off by holding space for unexpected conversations through intriguing and vital programming.
One of the most exciting ways we do this outside of our programming is through our special events. Our special events range from opening night dinners to closing night champagne toasts and create the chance to meet new friends, spend time with our talented teams and artists, and have a grand old time while doing so.

OPENING NIGHT DINNERS
These Opening Nights are special events where we host a dinner at 315 Restaurant and Wine Bar where you enjoy a Prix Fixe meal, mingle and hear from the designers and director, and then walk to the Playhouse for the Opening Night Performance (with a champagne toast following the performance).

DINNER ON STAGE
Dinner on Stage has become a special tradition where artists and audience gather on the set of a production on a Tuesday night during the run to share a great dinner, curated entertainment, and a specially curated experience like no other. Each Dinner on Stage takes a different form and is created in response and dialogue with the production it is attached to.
For 2026 the Dinner on Stage will be announced soon.
A THEATRICAL FEAST
Hosts from around Santa Fe will open their houses for a series of individual dinner parties on one single night. Each dinner party and meal will be inspired by a different musical or play and will include various performances and festivities…
After dinner, everyone will gather at the Playhouse for dessert and a special performance as well as the announcement of Season 2027!
The 2026 Theatrical Feast will take place on September 21, 2025. More info to come.
ANNUAL GALA

The 2025 Gala was a wildly fun Murder Mystery called THE MYSTERY OF THE TEMPLE TEMPTRESS.
190 people gathered at the Scottish Rite Temple on February 15, 2025 to solve a Murder Mystery with performances, great food from High Desert Kitchen and hosted by Cassidy Freedman. Thank you to everyone who joined us in 2025 – we hope to see you in 2026.
