Hello! We are seeking a Rehearsal Stage Manager for our upcoming production of the world premiere of Kristin Goodman’s #UnderTheInfluence.
The Rehearsal Stage Manager would be needed from October 10th-November 7th to run rehearsals. Once the production moves onto stage on November 8th, the rehearsal SM will no longer be needed and the show will be taken over by the Production Stage Manager.
The Rehearsal Stage Manager will need to be present at all rehearsals, be extremely organized, promp, excellent at time management, scheduling, and following up, with a strong work ethic, good attitude, computer skills (including conveying information for lighting and sound), and passion for the project.
We are looking for somebody we can depend upon as a Stage Manager.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, taking very careful notes on blocking, lines, and technical cues, assisting in taping out the rehearsal space, assisting the director in whatever she may need, being in charge of all rehearsal prop/furniture/costume pieces, and scheduling meetings and rehearsals. The SM will need to be able to effectively communicate between all departments, actors, and staff.
This is a contract job that will pay $450 for the 4-week rehearsal period.
