In 2024, The Melodrama will consist of four short-plays by four New Mexican playwrights. The writers will be inspired by a cast of six actors and the theme of “fire” to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the burning of Zozobra. SFP plans to partner with different community-based organizations to create a participatory theater experience to restore and build community by connecting people through performance.
