Kristin Goodman is an award-winning film director, screenwriter, and playwright. Her most recent short horror/thriller film, The Maid, has been honored at numerous festivals including, Best Horror at The Berlin Independent Film Festival, Best Horror at Lady Filmmakers Film Festival, Best Horror at LA Independent Women Film Awards, Best Thriller at Toronto International Women Film Festival, Best Horror at Cannes Indie Short Film Festival, and Best Horror at Chicago REELS International Short Film Festival.

Kristin’s theater directing and acting credits span over twenty years in both Chicago and Los Angeles, including The Court Theater, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and The Goodman Theater. An MFA graduate of The Theater School at DePaul University, Kristin spent four years as a full-time acting professor at Roosevelt University’s Conservatory, The Chicago College of Performing Arts.

Whether it be a drama, a comedy, a thriller, or a horror, Kristin is an artist who revels in revealing the human experience from the intimate to the epic, on screen and on the stage.
