Tom hails from rural Michigan and is happy to call Santa Fe “home” since 1979. He loves the open skies, temperate seasons, and the caring and creative community here. A theatre arts major at Kalamazoo College led him to work in Ft. Wayne, London, and Stamford. Travel continues to be one of his passions. Tom retired from his position as Marketing & Operations Director at The Santa Fe Opera in 2019. After 40 years of learning, challenges, and camaraderie in the opera world, he is grateful to return to his first love – theatre, and to the magic and connection that storytelling brings.
